MOT Tester & MOT Manager qualifications

The Level 2 course in MOT Testing gives learners the knowledge and skills required to perform MOT tests to the required standard. Once passed, new MOT testers can apply to the DVSA for their Certificate of Competence and begin conducting MOT tests.
Course duration is 4 days with a minimum of 8 hours practical training.
Over the 4 days you will receive 29 hours of guided learning, of which 8 hours will consist of practical training. Once you have passed online assessment at the end of day 4, we’ll visit your place of work and carry out a Practical Assessment of you completing an MOT Test, this will take an additional 2-3 hours.
